The following Terms and Conditions for booking a tour with us contain important information. Please read them carefully as they represent a binding contract between us; QUECHUA LEGACY and You; the Signatory, for the travel services provided by QUECHUA LEGACY This document establishes the bases for a commercial relationship between you, the client, and QUECHUA LEGACY
Conditions of Service
For trips to Machu Picchu the Electronic Ticket issued allows only the entrance to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and / or some of its mountains, depending on the type of ticket purchased. Does not include any type of transportation or guiding service. The purchase of tours is in Dollars and it's subject to change without notice
Entrances to Machu Picchu and Inca Trail
Change of dates is not possible after a permit has been processed. Permits for Machu Picchu and Inca Trail are non-transferable nor refundable Permits. The deposit will be forfeited. Please note that we do this because we are prohibited to re-sell your spot after you have canceled.
Responsibilities
QUECHUA LEGACY does not take responsibility for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophes, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry Travel Insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions listed above.
Please note that no reimbursements are given when cancellations occur or for any unused services. QUECHUA LEGACY will do everything possible to assure a safe and enjoyable trip but we will not accept any responsibility for damages, injuries, losses, or expenses due to delays, for any cause whatsoever, this applies to any person or property in connection with any service we or our intermediaries provide, which result directly or indirectly from acts of God or forces mayor.
Travel Insurance
Full travel insurance is mandatory and provides coverage against potential deposit or cancellation losses in most situations. Importantly, no reimbursements are available for cancellations or unused portions of your trip.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. QUECHUA LEGACY prioritizes client safety and employs highly qualified staff to minimize the risk of accidents, illnesses, and loss of personal belongings during all our services.
Fitness and medical conditions
For your safety, please inform QUECHUA LEGACY of any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies. Participants must be in good physical health. If you have any concerns, consult a doctor. Guests aged 70 and older must provide a medical certificate from their physician
You are solely responsible for determining your suitability for this Tour, including consulting your doctor about travel fitness, necessary vaccinations, and any required medical precautions. We do not provide medical advice.
QUECHUA LEGACY reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a trip at any time and at your own risk if the company determines that your physical or mental condition renders you unable to travel or represents a danger to himself or for others.
Privacy
QUECHUA LEGACY does not share your private information with any government or private agency that is not involved in providing you with the tourist services requested by you
Payment methods
Our system accepts several credit and debit cards and they are the only accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. Personal checks, phone orders, wire transfers and any other payment method are not accepted.
A 5% card fee will be added to all credit or debit card payments, this is for the full payment, pre-payment (booking deposit) or your remaining balance of your tours.
Cancelation Policy
The terms of cancellations are defined by the advance notice with which we are notified. No matter the cause, cancellations have different penalties that you «our client» agree to abide by.
Cancelation Made by Client for tours around Cusco (Cusco tours)
- Cancellation of tour Once your tour has been confirmed and paid 50% of the tour price will be returned.
- Changing the date of the tour 72 Hrs prior to your tour date is possible with $25 extra per person.
- Cancellation of the tour on the day of departure incurs a loss of 100% of the total tour cost paid.
Cancelation Made by the Client for the tour with a Machu Picchu ticket
- Cancellation of the tour, once you have received a tour confirmation, implies a loss of the reservation deposit. Cancellations for Machu Picchu tours are rigid, there is no refund once you have confirmed your departure..
